Since the year 2005, 'SHUBHDA' has been engaged in providing every possible support to the mentally challenged children and their parents. Presently 142 destitute mentally challenged disabled children and their guardians are associated with the organization. About 88 of these beneficiaries used to regularly attend the centre operated for special education. Due to Covid the children could not come to SHUBHDA Special School in this current session. In view of this situation, under this programe, facilities for education, training and therapy were made available to disabled children at their residence. Under this program, a therapist, special teacher and a worker were provided to these special need children according to a pre-determined action plan at their house/home and provided various types of therapy and with the help of this we trained them about daily activities to be done. Along with this, the parents also have been trained about the daily needs and activities of the child and necessary support has also been given by 'SHUBHDA'.

Our primary services for these children are classified into the following categories:
- Day boarding of children across all age groups
- Physiotherapy and Speech therapy by professionals
- Language and vocational training
- Art and craft classes and training
- Music and dance classes
- Pick up and drop off facility for enrolled children
- Other general activities - teaching the children to groom themselves and accustoming their learnings and behavior per their capabilities.
